Access currently denied by Xerox.
The use of the Xerox network to access inappropriate Internet sites or to distribute or receive inappropriate materials is prohibited. For this purpose inappropriate includes, but is not limited to, sites promoting pornography, racial discrimination, or the distribution of materials defamatory to other organizations or individuals.
As the Xerox network does not have unrestricted capacity, access to high bandwidth sites or applications is also restricted. This includes sound, music, radio, video, and ticker tape sites (continuously updated information). Access to sites featuring gambling, gaming, dating and chat services is also restricted.
The use of webmail (e.g. Hotmail) is prohibited because it is a potential source of direct infection by computer viruses and, as it is not secure, its use for business purposes would expose Xerox information to unauthorised access.
